First Day of School

The first day of the 2019–2020 school year is on Tuesday, September 3. Please visit our Calendar page for information regarding school breaks and holidays, parent conferences, teacher work days, and more. We are looking forward to another wonderful year!

School Supplies

Another new school year is right around the corner! We want to help you stay organized over the summer as you prepare for the 2019–2020 school year. Our new school supply list is available now to help you with your back-to-school shopping!

Open House

We invite current, past, and potential Birch Grove families, and the entire community to join us for our open house on Tuesday, August 13 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Birch Grove Community School in Tofte. Enjoy free hot dogs and beverages, meet school staff and board members, ask questions and get answers, tour the school and playground, meet other Birch Grove families and friends, and much more! Learning Opportunities Through Stories

Seven sessions of Learning Opportunities Through Stories (LOTS) begin on Wednesday, June 19. Birch Grove Community School encourages children of all ages to attend LOTS, share what they have been reading, and bring home a free book. 

Campsite Kids

Campsite Kids starts on Monday, June 10! This is a summer program for students in kindergarten through 5th grade. This program offers a lot of fun for your child. Please see our Campside Kids page for more information.

Weekly Newsletter

Our weekly newsletter contains important dates to remember, upcoming events, special notices, and updates from classroom teachers as to what is happening in the classroom. We send a copy home with your child weekly, but you may also view or print it here.
